Process Temperature Maintenance

In numerous industrial process applications, liquids are transported via pipelines from one location to another for storage, distribution or further processing. Depending on the application, there is often a requirement to maintain these process systems at temperatures required to replace the heat loss caused for example by: valves, supports, non-flowing liquids and through the thermal insulation on pipelines and vessels.

Utilising the extensive, globally approved range of nVent RAYCHEM heating cables, control systems and components,  R&D can design, supply and install the most appropriate type of trace heating system to facilitate the temperature maintenance of these processes in both hazardous and non-hazardous installations.

Solutions may be selected from, or be a combination of, self-regulating, power limiting, constant watt, mineral insulated (MI) or polymer insulated series cables.

We can provide the heating cable and components only, which can be purchased directly form R&D or from our online shop, or we can offer a complete turnkey solution, which includes:

• The design and installation of the trace heating cable and components.
• The design and manufacture of the trace heating control panels.
• The design, and installation of all the power and control cables.
• The installation of all cable containment systems.
• Additionally, working with our thermal insulation partners, we can supply and install the thermal insulation.
