In addition to our contracting facilities R&D operate an in-house fabrication facility with the capability to fabricate in aluminium, stainless steel and carbon steel. This facility is operated in conjunction with our sister company, R&D Ventilation Systems Ltd.

The fabrication facilities include:

  • A 650m² fabrication workshop
  • A 240m2 clean workshop and stores.
  • TIG welding
  • MIG welding
  • 2.4m guillotine
  • 2.4m press break
  • Powder coating plant
  • Various drilling stations

Having these facilities provides the contracting section with the capability to fabricate various bespoke brackets, stands and frameworks, providing an enhanced cost effective service to our various clients.
