Hazardous Area Inspections

As part of our contracting services, and as a NICEIC hazardous area approved contractor, being assessed for:

"Preparation, Installation, Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Electrical Installations in Hazardous Areas, consisting of Explosive Gasses and Intrinsically Safe Systems",

we provide an hazardous area inspection service on new and existing electrical and instrumentation installations.

These inspections can be either "Initial", "Detailed", Close" or "visual", depending on the status of the installation or the clients requirements.

The inspections are undertaken by CompEx qualified staff in accordance with the requirements of IEC 60079. This qualification enables our company to undertake the installation and inspection of electrical and instrument equipment in the UK (UKCA), Europe (ATEX) and worldwide (IECEx) . We carry out these inspections for clients throughout the UK and worldwide.

On completion of the inspections, if required, we can assist the client with the update of the associated hazardous area  documentation, producing maintenance and repair plans and undertaking any remedial works that may be required.
